How it all started...
In November of 1984, Darrell Huffman and his wife Bonnie felt led by God to move their young family of 4 from Fort Smith, Arkansas to Huntington, WV to launch a Faith-Focused church to reach Huntington and the Tri-State for Jesus.
On the 3rd Sunday of July, that dream became a reality when the very first service of New Life Church took place with 52 people in attendance.

The Next Generation...
In July of 2019, Joshua Huffman and his wife Megan, Darrell & Bonnie’s son, officially became the Lead Pastor's of New Life Church. Since 1985, New Life Church has seen tremendous growth and impact in Huntington and throughout the Tri-State under Darrell and Bonnie’s leadership and now the baton has passed to the next generation.
Where we are headed...
God has moved in amazing ways through New Life Church over the years and we believe this is just the beginning. We believe our best days are ahead of us! We will continue to reach out to all people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our influence in the community will continue to grow and expand, and Jesus will be lifted up. We will stay true to the Vision God has given us.
